“What’s the deal with the birds?” If you must know, Acorn records 30-60 minutes of birdsong using her smartphone. The track is run the entire length of the podcast which gives it a bit of ” you are here” quality. This is exactly what you would hear if you were sitting on the porch with us- watching the sun come up, taking a break in the afternoon, or enjoying a cold homebrew in the evening. No cars, no traffic- just birds and the occasional rooster crowing or dog barking.
